A Smile...

For a girl with a chronic non-green thumb you'd never be able to tell looking at our house.
It's a greenhouse in here! (chuckle)
Never completely understood the power of flowers and cards before - but thank you, again - from the bottom of my heart for your love and concern. They're all so beautiful!
I hope Oscar won't find them delicious. ;)
A special note to Wendy: I received your message today and it was so wonderful to hear your voice. Thank you for your prayers and tears... Lord willing, we can see you someday to give you the hugs that your words made us want to return. Thanks to you and Ken for making that effort to reach out to us. :)
We're going to pick up her pictures for the funeral and get frames - if you read this you can pray that I don't break down in Wal-Mart. :) Again.
Seriously... it happened yesterday. Sometimes I cry over falling prices... chuckle.
Yes - she laughs...
Isn't God so good? :)
Love you all,
kendall

We don't know each other, but I heard about your family on a message board. I have not stopped thinking about your family and loss since I read and cried for you all several days ago. I am pregnant with our second and realized how much I had taken this baby for granted. Your blog has moved me! God is being glorified through this terrible tragedy and I have been in prayer before our holy God every time I think of you. May you find your peace in Him as you celebrate the life of your daughter with those that love you tomorrow.

Ohh Kendall,...how I love you,...you are a gem, a rare one,...and I write that in response to your posting, b/c in the midst of your crisis, your wonderful personality still shines through. I wouldn't miss the memorial for your beautiful daughter, and of course she is beautiful, how could she not be with such gorgeous parents. Today while Terry and I were coming home from Winnipeg, we stopped at a gas station where they had internet access, and that is where I read your story,..right there with the truckers and people milling around I bawled for you, I must have been quite the sight,...I can't imagine the depth of your pain,...and yet somehow I want to feel it deeply, as though somehow I could carry a part of it for you,...Autumn will be missed so much,...much love

Kendall and Kurt,
We so wish to be there at Autumn's memorial. She is beautiful. We are there in our hearts and thoughts. Your strength and witnessing through this most difficult time shows us all you abundant faith in God. Yes reasons will be whispered in our hearts when we are ready and life continues. May God hold you in his arms today and comfort you, his children.

Kurt & Kendall,
You don't know me, but I used to live in Melfort and know Gordie & Lori. Our family now lives in Vernon, BC where I am a Children's Pastor. A friend e-mailed me about your blog. What a blessing you are to many in your time of loss. Thank you for being real and for being such a light in a dark world, pointing others to the Good Shepherd (who is carefully cradling your precious lamb in His loving arms!!). What a joy to see God's strength lived out in you. We will be praying for you in the difficult days ahead. Thank you again for the encouragement that you are to many.
