We're Back! (and tanned...)
Tummy time ON mommy's tummy... (in the middle of a game of "grab my own toes and stick them in my mouth" - she invented it - I just enable...)
Enjoying time with daddy - wearing less clothes than she's ever worn in her life. :) Thanks for the hat, Sheila J - it came in SO handy and looked so cute on her!
Taken by the flight attendant on the way home (Peyton fell asleep as we were waiting to board but woke up soon after this picture).

Cardboard Testimonies
I watched this not knowing what to expect but soon had tears running down my face.
I am not only impressed with the God who saved and has held me - but who has held others in even harder situations. With each person who walked out on the stage - especially the few whose cardboard testimonies that hit really close to home - my heart cried, "Yes, yes! This God is so, SO powerful!"
These people are proof that He heals brokenness.
And so am I.
(make sure to pause the music on my player)

Green Is The Colour...
Hey Dean & Amanda,
Guess what she finally grew into? :)
Go Riders!!!
Grey Cup 2009, right?
Right??
(Why does Daddy just sigh and shake his head? ;))
Sitting up all by herself. It doesn't last for hours, or anything - but the ability is really starting to develop.
Proud papa - I should have got them to put on matching shirts... oh well - there is more time for that, Lord willing. :)
So proud of herself - standing up and checking out Praise Baby - and Mommy with the camera. She's starting to turn more when I say her name... not sure if it is recognition, or just my voice. We'll keep working on it. :) Kurt laughs because pretty much all my recent pictures of him and Peyton are with him still in pj's. That's because it's first thing in the morning before he goes to work - neither one of them is super-dooper cheerful in the evening... so AM is best for those "smiling" type pictures. :)
PS: just for reference, Dean and Amanda got us our Rider gear waaaay back when I was 25 weeks pregnant and we wondered when she would actually fit it. Here is a picture (with date) as proof:

To Dust, or Not To Dust?
I love the morning sunshine - bright and beautiful - but don't like the dilemma it causes:
What should I do about all the dust it reveals? Ugh...
I'll just keep the blinds closed this morning, I think. The afternoon sun isn't quite as unforgiving.

Another Weather Post?
Even though it is (gag me) minus 27 (minus 38 with the windchill) I know that spring draws close because my house is a degree and a bit higher than the thermostat setting. And I'm not baking or cooking. The sun is just high and warm... and I praise God for His faithfulness in once again ending winter. :)
I'll post soon... at least a couple before we go on our trip - hopefully. :)
