Guess what? I noticed last night that I cannot see my feet anymore looking straight down. Quite the accomplishment, eh? Kurt laughed and said, "You should put that information on your blog." So there you have it - my feet may still be swollen, and my toenail polish less-than-perfect... but I don't have to look at them everyday unless I want to. :)
On a side note, those who are reading the ticker at the top of my page: the baby isn't exactly moving less as much as in a different way. I think he/she had hiccups all day yesterday and is practicing stretching one limb at a time... I am pretty sure I felt a little heel push up my hand this morning... I wonder if I'm going to miss this connection when the baby arrives?

Hi Kendall
I've enjoyed hearing the updates, and am thankful that you are not diabetic! Gord just suggested that Kurt should try painting your toenails! I don't know about that, but it could be good for a laugh! I think when you can actually touch your baby's limbs, you will enjoy the real connection even more so :)
Love Mom L
I agree with Lori! The real connection is better than anything! AND you'll have more comfortable ways to carry him/her than the way you are now- and Kurt can take turns then too!!
And who needs to see their feet all the time anyway? It's highly over-rated! ;-D
Love you both (and baby Manz too!)
Mom P
Thanks Moms! :)
Love you both - Kurt isn't' against the idea of trying painting... my issue is that if he does mess it up, then I'm not exactly in a position to correct it. :-D A TAD scary...
And you're right, mom, feet (especially fat ones) are overrated. I wore hiking shoes to the grocery store last night - not only did Kurt have to tie them for me - but I could barely get them on in the first place. (lol) Great stuff...
i LIVED in flip flops the last 2 months of my pregnancy. in fact there was this one pair that i wore for almost 6 weeks straight. i am so sick of those shoes :)
go and get a pedicure...i did and it felt wonderful!
and btw, you totally wont miss the connection once your baby is born. your baby will be in your arms and it will be oh so much better than in your stomach, on many many levels :)
Yes, flip flops are a pregnant woman's best friend. I don't even remember when I stopped seeing my feet when I looked down (while standing up). I don't spend a lot of time standing still in one place--it hurts too much! I still have no idea which body parts are poking my tummy. I can only assume it's her knees or feet since she's head-down. I probably will never know at this point since she's due to make her first appearance in about three weeks or so!
Sorry to hear about the glucose test results. I don't think I could live without the carbs I enjoy so much!
Yeah - flip-flops are great - but at work I still have to pry on my shoes... which are getting super-hard to tie up. Thank goodness for pressure stockings... without which I would NEVER have ankles! (lol)
I console myself that I'm not exactly living "without"... just "with-less"... but yeah... it is amazing what carbs are part of!
Hey Kendall! Thinking about you and your glucose tests :(
P.S. Just wanted to let you know that when I log on to your blog Katelynn sees your guys picture and gets excited. She says 'Kurt!' and I say 'yes, Kendall and Kurt' and she then reinforms me 'Kurt' lol...He must have made a good impression on her!
Hey Tasha!
:)Awww...
I'll be sure to show him this... he'll be pretty happy (especially 'cause she was so shy last time we were there and wouldn't play with him too much - too many people!)
I'll tell myself that 'Kurt' is just easier for a little girl to say... ;-D (lol)
Can you believe it is only 60 days to go?? :)
That's so exciting, Kendall! Can't wait til he/she is born so I can see pictures:)
