Aloha!

It's December 1st, right?
'Cause it's raining.

Hellooooo?

My sister and brother-in-law are in Hawaii.

People from Saskatchewan have one wish when they go on a "hot" vacation:

"Please, please let it be -40 while I'm there!"

Wish denied! ;)

See you soon, Dean & Amanda - we'll hold the freezing weather until you get back to enjoy it with us. :-D

Hey Kendall, Perhaps Peyton is not really gassy, only hungry???? Don't forget she will have definite growth spurts every 6-8 weeks......so maybe.....

Hey 5100 - thanks for the comments! :)
I pretty much always try to feed her first sign of fussiness.I WISH she was only hungry - the milk is abundant and I already gone through a few sets of days of q2h feedings (which I don't mind)... but in these cases her tummy gets rock hard, she draws up her legs, and kicks and kicks and kicks... (and cries) and once she "passes gas" (eventually) she feels great. I'm probably TOO quick to try to feed her according to some old-school mamas... :-D
The gripe water seems to be working okay for that, though - and she can feed in peace. Last check she is WELL over 9 pounds (my suspicion is that she's creeping up on 10 pretty quickly) and her little arms and legs are starting to get "rolly". :) I'm quite delighted about that. :)
But hey - Roseanne did tell me, "You don't be afraid to feed that baby!" and I (as always) listen to Roseanne. ;)So I'll continue to follow that advice as best I can.
Thanks again girls - I miss you all!
